La Feuillantine

Most of my rides start with a coffee at La Feuillantine, a local Pastry shop open by two friends in Gland. Kevin and Stephan should probably hates me but they keep smiling when they see me enter the shop in Lycra.

These guys works 15 to 20 hours a day. 15 to 20 hours a day is that what it takes to do everything on site. Sandwiches, cakes, cookies, chocolate, everything you don't have to eat but you can't resist. My favourite are the Congolais or Rocher Coco. The perfect sweets after a long ride. They have a healthy and delicious Menu du Jour. 

Sometimes I feel guilty stoping there for a coffee before going for a ride. They are the first witness of all my free time. I don't know if it is seeing me in Lycra almost everyday that makes Kevin buy a road bike, but even with working all these hours, he manage to find time and mostly energy to ride his bike. Chapeau !
