The Bircher Müesl'G

How I invented a salty version of Bircher Müesli.
Switzerland is famous for chocolate, bank and watches. A little bit less for his great breakfast the Bircher Müesli. It was invented around 1900 by the Dr Müesli. The bircher consist of a bowl a cereals with milk, honey and apple. Perfect breakfast but also a very good recovery meal. But after a long ride, you had enough of sugar.
This is how I invented a salty version of Bircher Müesli renamed The Bircher Müesl'G.
Receipt:
- 100 gr of cooked cereal (You can do a mix of wheat, spelt, buckwheat, millet or quinoa)
- 15 pistachios
- 2 dried tomatoes
- Parmigiano Reggiano DOP
- Olive oil & balsamic vinegar
Cook the mix of cereal before you go out for a ride. Leave in the pan with a fallen of olive oil. Come back from your ride, take a shower.
Sliced the dried tomatoes and add it with the pistachios to the cereal. Sliced or grate some Parmigiano. Add some olive oil and vinegar and enjoy it.
It is also a perfect hangover meal !
