#IWCSPARTACUS - Part II

And then June 28th happened...

Rendez-vous at the Schweizerhof in Bern. Red carpet and bodyguard for the bikes. Meeting room full of beautiful people. Not really cyclists. Except for Patrick Seabase, who's also a friend of the brand. We are here to talk about watches. Because this what IWC does. They love bikes but they don't do bikes. Not yet. As a big fan of the brand as I am, I was excited to have the privilege to see the Fabian Cancellara Edition of the Ingenieur Chronograph. But more excited I was to go for a ride around Bern with the local hero.

As soon as Fabian put his brand new watch on his wrist, we escaped the city center in two pedal stroke. Bern is a fantastic area to ride with typical Switzerland scenery. Everything is green and clean.

Not everybody has the ability to ride with an Olympic Champion, some of us are on E-bike. I don't need an engine,"I am the engine".

After 35 km, we hit the bottom of the Moosegg climb. Fast tempo is set by Fabian and his friends. After a few attempts to drop the e-bike squad, we managed to get on the top first. Honor is safe.

Our efforts were rewarded. Nenad Mlinarevic, one of the hottest Chef of Switzerland, was waiting us. A 3 stars ravito. The day what not finished yet. We still had to get back to the City. But it was already a day to remember.
