As I said. I’ve started cyclocross 5 years ago. My first CX bike was an allow frame Specialized Crux. It was the best way to start. This year, I had the chance to get a Trek Boone 7. It’s a really great bike. As on the road, I stick to tradition. This is why I choose the Canti brakes version.

The Trek Boone is a high end cyclocross bike. No doubt about it. What makes the bike confortable enough for my roadie ass is the IsoSpeed Decoupler. The fact that the seat tube is separate from the top tube and seat stays give you almost an absolute confort on all terrain. That also allows the rear wheel to stick stronger to the ground. The geometry of the frame, with a low bottom bracket and stable front-end, provides perfect handling. All the ingredients for a fast bike.

Furthermore, the Trek Boone is a good looking bike ! Which counts a lot when covered of mud.
